What’s the inspiration behind this garnish?

What’s the inspiration behind this cocktail? 
The cocktail itself is a play on a Vesper, subbing the sake in place of Lillet and adding a touch of floral components from Creme de violette. The foam is infused with yuzu peel and the red stripe is a paste of freeze dried plum and Aperol.

In a shaker with ice, combine

• 1-1/2 ounces Ketel One Vodka
• 1/2 ounce Tanqueray 10
• 3/4 ounce Junmai Ginjo
• bar spoon Creme de Violette
• 2 dashes Grapefruit Bitters.

Stir and strain into a cocktail glass over hand-carved ice. Garnish with braided pandan leaf, plum aperitif paste, and yuzu peel-infused foam.
